19.01.10 Australia Day 2010
Christmas came and went, the year started...but wait, let's party! And party we did to celebrate the birth of our nation and recover from Christmas. What better way to celebrate but with a few snags on the BBQ in the courtyard?
Plenty of tats, beer and akubras were enjoyed on the day. Cheers!

FIRST SERIES, NOV 2008 Country Matters Telvison Programme
Rural weekly newspapers do a great job reaching the farming community but what about a television programme target to regional Australia.
Most of the regional television programs come direct from the metropolitan networks so there is not much room for a programme specifically targeted to the rural community for marketers.
Our rural clients needed a media channel to talk to farmers and their families, so The Media Establishment ,with Bob Delamont from Get Into Productions, produced a 14 episode series called County Matters which went to air on Southern Cross during the second half on 2009.
Ridley’s, Commonwealth Bank, John Deer to name a few companies, with the help of Bob and his team, had editorial within the programme. These companies used the on air segments as part of their marketing collateral.
We felt there was a gap in the communication channels for talking directly to regional Australia, so with Bob and Get Into Productions we came up a solution and created a show. It was not easy but as we proved it was not impossible either.
What about the 2010 series. Stay tuned. We know there is room for a programme like Country Matters. If you would like to know more, then let’s talk about it.

21.08.09 TME & Syngenta Spray Awards

Syngenta one of worlds leading Ag Chemical companies wanted to inform farmers about how they can improve their spraying practices using sustainable, economic and responsible techniques.
In 2009, after discussions with the Syngenta marketing team we met with editors and senior management at Rural Press, Australia’s leading agricultural publishers. There were many meetings about how a Spray Awards would work, judged, and how the primary objective to promote good farming practice would be achieved.
Some clever thinking on both sides produced the Spray Awards which is now an annual event with the winner announced at Agquip in Gunnadah each year. It is a complicated process to get the competition just right, but good collaboration between the experts at Syngenta and Rural Press made it all happen.

04.01.09 TME Christmas in July Party
Christmas in July is a silly idea thought up by a bunch of people who lived in the northern hemisphere and pine for a cold Christmas. What a stupid idea. However, it’s also a good reason to have a bit of fun and a party after everyone has been working like crazy over the first half of the year.
Sounds good to us! It was nice to see so many of our friends enjoy this silly occasion. We think it’s so silly we will make it an annual event!
More turkey anyone?

26.10.08 - Ag Golf Day

This year, The Media Establishment was a sponsor of the Ag Industries Golf day at Ryde-Parramatta. A fantastic day with not too many golf balls lost. Being a 4 ball Ambrose, Dave and I had Carl Pratten from NAB Agribusiness on our team and proved to be a great asset. TME had its ‘Driver Reviver’ longest drive competition on the 18th hole. Justin Cook from Ruralco took home the TME longest drive trophy for 2008.
Already looking forward to next year.

01.02.08 - Website Launch

Its been 4 months in the making and is finally here! Lucas Arundell has done a fine job of putting it together and truly reflects what The Media Establishment is all about. It is vastly different from our original and we hope you enjoy the new format. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any suggestions on how we can continue to improve our website.

10.01.08 - New North Sydney Office!
The team moved into our new North Sydney offices in October 2007 and have truly media established the place. It has been fitted out as open plan complete with a mezzanine boardroom upstairs with new AV gear and more importantly a mini bar.
Moving to North Sydney from our old offices in Wahroonga (where TME was founded by Dave in 2001) has not only improved our ability to service our clients but also meet with the media proprietors. Oh and is pretty handy if we need to do a lunch or go for a cheeky beverage.
